About Me

Positioning Statement

Image
As a marketing and creative professional, I have a passion for visual art and design in the fashion branding with communication discipline, I value working on projects in which I can showcase these skills, whether that be by photography, painting or digitally editing. I am proficient across Adobe platforms, especially Premiere Pro and Photoshop. I also enjoy working with an analytic mindset, using this to further develop my marketing skills by analysing data and the numbers behind social media and brand engagement. Optimism is one of my strengths and priorities, so when challenged with a project that takes on skills that are unfamiliar to me, I am always eager to learn and optimistic of the outcome. For my final semester at Leeds Arts University, I have focused on Art Direction as an umbrella to develop my creative practice portfolio. The portfolio is a combination of live briefs and self-set briefs. Covering aspects of trend forecasting, editorial and visual merchandising, these projects show a versatility and ability to adapt. Targeting an audience of young fashion creatives as well as fashion brands. These completed briefs show strength in communication with a client as the versatile curation of projects visualise my skill in working specifically to a set brief. My desired area of professionalism is a marketing role with the scope to use my creativity to develop visual projects for the brand I am hired by. To any role, I bring enthusiasm for collaboration and teamwork. As shown in my projects I can thrive in a collaborative environment, delivering project management skills in a given time frame. I also bring a positive attitude and a sense of compassion to any role. In my experience I have found that this is integral to any role as accountability and trust has a direct impact on creative practice or marketing.
